Description
This non slip aluminium stair edge profile is designed to improve step definition, grip, and edge protection in busy stair environments. With a 75mm tread and 58mm riser, the rakeback front and ramped rear create a smooth transition between floor levels while reducing trip risk on stairs used throughout public and commercial buildings.
A PVC insert is fitted to both the tread and riser to support slip resistance and visual contrast. The integrated Aluminator glow strip absorbs natural or artificial light and becomes visible in darkness, helping guide stair users during low-light conditions without the need for power, wiring, or batteries.
Supplied pre-drilled through the insert with colour-matched pips, this stair edging is straightforward to fit and suitable for a wide range of floor surfaces including concrete, tile, vinyl, timber, steel, and checker plate. The durable aluminium body supports long-term use in high-footfall indoor and outdoor staircases.
