This 72 × 55mm aluminium stair edge trim is designed to define step edges clearly while supporting secure footing and long-term stair protection. The wider 72mm tread works alongside a deeper 55mm riser to create a visible, well-protected step edge suited to demanding stair environments.
A slip-resistant PVC insert helps reduce the risk of slips underfoot, while the integrated Aluminator glow strip improves visibility when lighting levels drop. The glow strip absorbs light from daylight or common indoor sources such as fluorescent or filament lighting, then emits a visible glow in darkness. It operates without wiring or a power supply, relying only on regular exposure to light.
