This straight edge aluminium stair nosing is designed for staircases that experience frequent foot traffic, where a defined step edge and added grip are required. With a 56mm tread and 55mm riser, the profile provides clear edge coverage and supports consistent step definition across busy environments.
Formed from 3mm gauge aluminium, the nosing is fitted with a tredsafe PVC insert that runs along the tread. The insert is made from a PVC blend with silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser and features a raised 3D pyramid surface to help improve footing in both wet and dry conditions.
Suitable for use with vinyl, linoleum, LVT, and medium carpet, this stair edging is commonly used in factories, shopping centres, transport locations, and other public access buildings. Supplied pre-drilled through the insert, with colour-matched pips provided to cover fixing points.
