The profile combines a glow-in-the-dark strip with a silicone carbide mineral insert, helping to define the step edge in everyday lighting and in darker conditions.
The photoluminescent strip charges from natural daylight or indoor lighting such as fluorescent or filament, then emits a visible glow when the surrounding light drops. It works without wiring or a power source.
For underfoot grip, the silicone carbide insert is built for frequent use and performs in damp areas and outdoor settings as well as interior staircases. This makes the profile suitable for busy walkways and entrances where stairs may be exposed to moisture or changing conditions.
