Description
This rakeback aluminium stair nosing is designed for stairs with angled risers, helping create a defined step edge and added grip in busy environments. Shaped for an approximate 83° riser angle, the profile sits neatly on precast and concrete steps and provides a consistent edge line along the tread and riser.
Made from mill finish aluminium, the nosing uses a Tredsafe PVC insert along the tread. The insert is produced from a PVC blend with silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser and has a raised 3D pyramid texture to support footing in both wet and dry conditions. The profile suits common floor finishes including vinyl, LVT, linoleum, and medium-pile carpet, making it suitable for shared buildings and public stairwells.
Supplied pre-drilled through the insert, with colour-matched pips included to cover fixing points for a tidy appearance.
